Terms of Service

By creating a Dhadkan account or using the Dhadkan app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. They describe what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how we handle disputes if any arise.
1. Who can use Dhadkan
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must be legally permitted to enter into a contract in your country of residence.
- You must not have been previously banned from Dhadkan.
- You must use a real first name and accurate profile information.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Notify us at service@dhadkan.social immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- You may have only one Dhadkan account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In addition, you will not:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate any unlawful act.
- Use bots, scrapers, automated agents, or any technical means to access the service in a way that is not authorized.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to Dhadkan.
- Use the service to spam, phish, defraud, or otherwise harm any other person.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the service.
4. Your content
You own the photos, text, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). By uploading Your Content to Dhadkan, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, copy, and adapt it solely as needed to operate the service (e.g., resize a photo for thumbnail display, send your message to its recipient, show your profile to potential matches).
You confirm that:
- You have the right to share Your Content.
- Your Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- Your Content complies with our Community Guidelines.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines without notice.
5. VIP subscriptions and billing
How billing works
Dhadkan VIP is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). When you purchase VIP:
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device’s account settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions). We cannot cancel a subscription from our end.
Promotional pricing
From time to time we offer promotional pricing. Promotional rates apply for the duration shown at purchase. After the promotional period (if any), the subscription renews at the standard rate unless cancelled.
Refunds
- Subscription refunds are governed by Apple’s App Store and Google Play refund policies. Request refunds directly through your app store.
- We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods, voluntary cancellations, or for accounts terminated due to violations of these Terms.
6. Account termination
By you
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile from other users immediately and erases your personal data within 30 days, subject to limited legal/safety retention as described in the Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including (without limitation) for:
- Violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
- Activity that endangers other users.
- Fraudulent, illegal, or abusive use of the service.
- Repeated reports from other users.
Where reasonable, we will notify you before termination. We do not provide refunds for accounts terminated for cause.
7. AI features
Dhadkan uses AI to generate compatibility insights and conversational suggestions. AI output is for entertainment and guidance only — it is not professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, or otherwise). AI may be wrong, biased, or incomplete. Use your own judgment.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MATCHSEEK DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL FIND A MATCH, A RELATIONSHIP, OR ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS, ONLINE OR OFFLINE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATCHSEEK AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Dhadkan harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any rights of another person.
11. Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises between you and Dhadkan, we ask that you first contact us at service@dhadkan.social so we can try to resolve it informally. If informal resolution fails, you and Dhadkan agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, except that either party may bring claims in small-claims court if eligible. Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Venue for any in-court action (e.g., small-claims) is the county where you reside.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you in the app and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Dhadkan after the change is published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
